ما قالوا في منع الزكاةWarnings regarding neglecting zakah
Hadith 10091
١٠٠٩١ - حدثنا شريك عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر عن إبراهيم قال: قال أبو بكر: لو منعوني ولو عقالًا مما أعطوا رسول اللَّه ﷺ لجاهدتهم، قال: ثم تلا: ﴿وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ﴾ [آل عمران: ١٤٤] (١).
It is narrated from Ibrahim that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq said: If those people refuse to give me even a piece of rope which they used to give to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I will certainly fight against them. Then he recited this blessed verse: "Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is nothing but a Messenger; indeed, Messengers have passed away before him. So if he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels?"
