`Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` I offered the funeral prayer behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for the mother of Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), who had died during postpartum bleeding, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood at the middle of her body during the funeral prayer.
