The condition for acceptance of prayer of a slave and a woman
Hadith 242
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "اثْنَانِ لا تُجَاوِزُ صَلاتُهُمَا رُءُوسَهُمَا : عَبْدٌ آبِقٌ مِنْ مَوَالِيهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِمْ ، وَامْرَأَةٌ عَصَتْ زَوْجَهَا حَتَّى تَرْجِعَ "، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ، إِلا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، وَلا عَنْهُ إِلا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ ابْنُ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two people whose prayer does not rise above their heads. One is the slave who has run away from his masters until he returns to his masters, and the other is the woman who is disobedient to her husband until she refrains from her disobedience."
