بَابُ الْجِلاَلِ لِلْبُدْنِ:
Chapter. The covering (sheet) of the Budn (camels for sacrifice).
Hadith 1707
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ بِجِلَالِ الْبُدْنِ الَّتِي نَحَرْتُ وَبِجُلُودِهَا " .
Narrated `Ali: Allah's Apostle ordered me to give in charity the skin and the coverings of the Budn which I had slaughtered.
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا لَا يَشُقُّ مِنَ الْجِلَالِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ السَّنَامِ ، وَإِذَا نَحَرَهَا نَزَعَ جِلَالَهَا مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُفْسِدَهَا الدَّمُ ، ثُمَّ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهَا .
And Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to tear only the hump-covering cloth, and when he would sacrifice it, he would remove the cloth out of fear that it might be stained with blood, and then he would also give that as charity.
Hadith 1707
وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا لَا يَشُقُّ مِنَ الْجِلَالِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ السَّنَامِ ، وَإِذَا نَحَرَهَا نَزَعَ جِلَالَهَا مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُفْسِدَهَا الدَّمُ ، ثُمَّ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهَا .
