Hadith Commentary:
(1)
This hadith (number: 1559) has already been mentioned previously. In it, it is stated that when I returned from Yemen to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), he asked: "With what intention did you enter into ihram?" I replied: "I entered into ihram in the same manner as the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)." He (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) then instructed me to perform the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah (Bayt Allah) and the walking (sa'i) between Safa and Marwah, and then to come out of the state of ihram. Since he did not have a sacrificial animal (hady), the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) ordered him to change his ihram.
(2)
In accordance with the aforementioned heading, Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) intends to establish that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (radi Allahu anhu) performed Hajj al-Tamattu'. And Allah knows best.
