Hadith 736
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالا : ثنا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ ، ح وَثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الأَحْمَسِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي الْحَيْضِ ، وَقَالَ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ : " وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ ، فَذَكَرَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " مُرْهُ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا وَهِيَ طَاهِرٌ أَوْ حَامِلٌ " ، قَالَ يُوسُفُ : فَسَأَلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he divorced his wife during her menstruation in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Instruct him to take her back, then when she becomes pure or becomes pregnant, then divorce her. Yusuf has used the word "asked" instead of "mentioned."
