Hadith 581
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ ، وَمَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ ، وَحُلْوَانِ الْكَاهِنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of a dog, the earnings of a prostitute, and the fee of a soothsayer.
