باب ترك الاستعانة بالمشركينNot seeking help from idolaters
Hadith 1048
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نِيَازٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّ رَجُلا ، قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ بَدْرًا : أَخْرُجُ مَعَكَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا نَسْتَعِينُ بِمُشْرِكٍ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that while going for the Battle of Badr, a man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): I want to go with you (for jihad). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: We will not take help from any polytheist.
