Hadith 191

Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) (who is the purified wife of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him) narrates that Umm Habibah suffered from continuous bleeding for seven years. She asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so he instructed her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and said that this is due to a vein (illness). Thus, Umm Habibah used to perform ghusl for every prayer.
