Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: A group from my Ummah will enter Paradise, their number will be seventy thousand, their faces will be shining like the full moon on the fourteenth night. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that upon this, Sayyiduna ‘Ukasha bin Mihsan Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up, lifting the striped cloak that was on his body, and said: O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He makes me one of them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed: O Allah, make him one of them. After that, another companion stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, pray that Allah makes me one of them too. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Ukasha has preceded you.
