Narrated by Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who were standing in one place, sitting on their animals and mounts. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: Ride these animals while they are healthy, and leave them in a state of health and soundness, and do not make them chairs for talking in the roads and markets (i.e., do not sit on them unnecessarily). For how many mounts are there that are better than their riders and remember Allah more than them.
