(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ، هَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ غُسْلٌ إِذَا احْتَلَمَتْ؟ قَالَ: ((نَعَمْ، إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ))
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salama (RA) that Sayyida Umm Sulaym (RA) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, Allah does not shy away from the truth, so if a woman experiences a wet dream, is ghusl (ritual bath) obligatory upon her? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Yes, when she sees water (semen).
