It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not pluck out the white hairs of old age, for they are the light of a Muslim. Whoever among the Muslims grows old in Islam, a good deed is written for him, his rank is elevated, or his sin is forgiven.
