Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw two saffron-dyed garments on me and said: "This is the clothing of the disbelievers, do not wear this clothing." In another narration, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Throw it away, this is the clothing of the disbelievers."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah states: From this blessed hadith it is understood that it is not permissible for a Muslim to wear the clothing of the disbelievers or to adopt their appearance, customs, and manners. This subject has been discussed in numerous ahadith, … … . However, nowadays in some Islamic countries, the garments and customs of the disbelievers have become widespread, and in fact, certain aspects of the disbelievers’ culture have even been made obligatory upon the soldiers of some or all Islamic countries—for example, the hat (i.e., the English cap). Rather, it should be said that people no longer even have the awareness of whether they are opposing or conforming to the Islamic Shari‘ah. So to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
