Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no contagious disease, no bad omen, no evil in the month of Safar, and no reality in the owl (superstition). A Bedouin said: Then how is it that camels walk in the sand like deer (i.e., they are healthy), but when a mangy camel mixes with them, they also get mange? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Tell me) who gave the first camel mange?
