It is also narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you send your dog for hunting and say Bismillah, but if this dog joins with other dogs, then do not eat that game, because you do not know which dog killed that game (while you said Bismillah only over your own dog). Similarly, when you shoot an arrow and have said Bismillah, and that arrow pierces the game, then eat it. If it does not pierce and the game dies from the blow of the middle thick part of the arrow, do not eat that game, and do not eat the game hunted by a bullet, unless you slaughter it.
