It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Taliq (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We are in the desert and sometimes someone passes wind; (what should we do in such a situation)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah is not shy of stating the truth. When any of you does so, he should perform ablution, and do not approach women from behind.
