Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about "bit‘" (a drink made from honey; the people of Yemen used to drink this beverage). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden.
