Hadith 6536

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِذِي رُوحٍ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُبْ مَثَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever mutilates a living being and does not repent, Allah Almighty will mutilate him on the Day of Resurrection.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The manner of mutilating an animal is that its limbs are cut off before slaughtering it. The law of the pure Shari‘ah is that any part of a living animal which is cut off and separated will be unlawful (haram).
