عَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا حَلَفَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَمْضِ وَإِنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتْرُكْ
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a servant takes an oath and says "Insha’Allah" (if Allah wills) as an exception, then he is given the choice; if he wishes, he may fulfill the oath, and if he wishes, he may break it.
