Hadith 5101

It is narrated from Kathir bin Saib, who says: The two sons of Qurayzah narrated to me that during the time of Banu Qurayzah's breach of covenant, they were presented before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). So, among them, whoever had reached puberty or had grown pubic hair was killed, and whoever was not like that was spared.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The growth of pubic hair has been considered a sign of puberty. Most scholars are of the opinion that, for resolving issues such as the killing of polytheists or matters related to jizyah, the presence of pubic hair can be taken as the criterion for determining puberty or non-puberty, because their (the polytheists’) statements would not be reliable.
