بَابُ اسْتِلَامِ الرُّكْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَالْيَمَانِيِّ وَعَدَمِ اسْتِلَامِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْآخَرِينَChapter: Touching the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner, and Not Touching the Other Two Corners
Hadith 4347

عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَّيْنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: I saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform istilam (touching or kissing) of only the two Yemeni corners of the Ka'bah (i.e., Rukn Yamani and Hajar Aswad).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Yemeni Corner (Rukn Yamani) and the Black Stone (Hajar Aswad) are, by predominance, both referred to as the "two Yemeni corners," just as "father" (ab) and "mother" (umm) are called "abawan" (the two parents), and the sun (shams) and the moon (qamar) are called "qamaran" (the two luminaries).
