بَابُ فِي الْفَصْلِ بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ وَمَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُChapter on the Interval Between Adhan and Iqamah and That Whoever Calls the Adhan Should Also Give the Iqamah
Hadith 1307

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ (وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ) فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the call for prayer is made, and according to another narration, when the Iqamah for prayer is pronounced, do not stand up until you see me.
