It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Medina, even though it will have fresh dates, its people will leave it." The Companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who will eat (the fruits and grains, etc.) here?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The beasts and the birds." Abu Awanah said: "I have been informed that Abu Bishr has said that this hadith was in the book of Sulaiman bin Qais."
