وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَاللَّهِ لَا تَدَعُ مُضَرُ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا فَتَنُوهُ أَوْ قَتَلُوهُ أَوْ يَضْرِبُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى لَا يَمْنَعُوا ذَنَبَ تَلْعَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أَتَقُولُ هَذَا يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَأَنْتَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ مُضَرَ قَالَ لَا أَقُولُ إِلَّا مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

(Second chain) Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The people of Mudar will put the believing servants of Allah into trials or will kill them, then Allah Almighty, the angels, and the believers will strike them in such a way that they will be humiliated and disgraced. A man said to Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him): O servant of Allah! You yourself are from Mudar and you are saying this? He replied: I say only what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has said.
