عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ ابْنٌ لِجَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كَانَتْ نَعْلُ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ طُولُهَا ذِرَاعٌ
Sufyan says that the son of Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the length of Jarir's (may Allah be pleased with him) shoe was one handspan.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Hafiz Ibn Hajar has narrated this report in Al-Isabah that Sayyiduna Jarir's height was six cubits. From this, it is understood that he was of great stature and physique.
