بَابُ التَّاسِعَةِ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ميمونة بنت الْحَارِثِ خَالَةِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسِ رَضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْChapter on the Ninth of the Prophet’s ﷺ Wives, Umm al-Mu’minin Maymunah bint al-Harith, the Maternal Aunt of Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them)

عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ فِي بَعْثٍ مَرَّةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”اذْهَبْ فَأْتِنِي بِمَيْمُونَةَ“ فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنِّي فِي الْبَعْثِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”أَلَسْتَ تُحِبُّ مَا أُحِبُّ“ قَالَ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ”اذْهَبْ فَأْتِنِي بِهَا“ فَذَهَبْتُ فَجِئْتُ بِهَا
Mawla of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He says, once my name was also registered in a detachment. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Go and bring Maymunah. I submitted: O Prophet of Allah! My name has already been written in such-and-such detachment. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you not like the work that I like? I said: Yes, absolutely. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then go and bring Maymunah to me. So I went and brought her. This hadith is evidence that a trustworthy Muslim slave can be sent with a woman during travel. (Abdullah Rafiq)
