It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I have not found anyone more kind to his family than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The son of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), had been sent to the upper suburbs of Madinah for nursing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go to see him, and we would also be with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter their house, even though there would be smoke rising in the house, because his foster father was a blacksmith. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would pick up Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), kiss him, and then return. The narrator Amr says: When Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) passed away, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Ibrahim is my son. Since he passed away during the period of nursing, there will be wet nurses for him in Paradise who will complete his nursing.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Master of the first and the last (Sayyid al-awwalin wal-akhirin) sent his child to the house of a blacksmith for nursing, and then he, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, did not feel any shame in going to that blacksmith’s house. This is servitude, this is true servitude.
