It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I served the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for ten years. (In one narration, nine years are mentioned.) Whatever command the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me, and then if I was negligent or made a mistake in it, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never reproached me. And if anyone from the household of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ever spoke harshly to me, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: Leave him alone, if it was destined to happen, it would have happened.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When any harm occurred from Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would attribute it to divine decree (taqdeer) and thus comfort the child.
During the long period of ten years, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam never even reproached the child who served him—Subhan Allah! This was an aspect of the forbearance of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. In fact, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would even forgive those who thirsted for his life and his enemies. Now, what is our own conduct towards our servants and workers?
