Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the condition of the Children of Israel was such that they used to bathe naked and would look at each other's private parts, whereas Allah's Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) felt modesty and shyness regarding this, so he would bathe in seclusion. But because of this, the Children of Israel taunted him about his private parts. In one narration, it is mentioned: They said, "By Allah! The only thing preventing Musa from bathing with us is that his testicles are swollen." So one day, Allah's Prophet was bathing and had placed his clothes on a stone, but it happened that the stone started moving along with the clothes. Musa (peace be upon him) followed it, struck it with his staff, and called out: "O stone! My clothes, O stone! My clothes!" But meanwhile, the stone reached a group of the Children of Israel and stopped among them. Allah's Prophet took his clothes and put them on. When they saw Musa (peace be upon him), they found him to be the most beautiful in creation and the most well-proportioned in appearance. After that, the Children of Israel said: "May Allah destroy those among the Children of Israel who slandered." Thus, this was the exoneration through which Allah Almighty cleared Musa (peace be upon him) of what they accused him of.
