It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A Muslim has six rights over another Muslim.” It was asked: What are they? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When you meet him, greet him with Salam; when he invites you, accept his invitation; when he seeks your advice, give him sincere counsel; when he sneezes and says «الحمد للہ», respond to him with «یرحمك الله»; when he falls ill, visit him; and when he dies, accompany him (to the graveyard), that is, perform his funeral prayer.”
