It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muslim (may Allah be pleased with him) that I participated in the battle of Hunayn with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "What is your name?" I said: My name is Ghurab. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No, rather from today your name is Muslim."
