Ali bin Rabah narrates from Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Ju'sham (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Suraqah," then narrated as in the mentioned hadith.
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Usman Muneeb
Benefits and Issues:
Both of these narrations have been mentioned by Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah as weak in "Adab al-Mufrad." However, if a daughter is in need, spending on her is superior to spending on others, because in this there is both charity (sadaqah) as well as maintaining the ties of kinship (silat ar-rahm).
