It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Karima Miqdam Shami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a guest arrives at night, it is obligatory upon every Muslim to host him for that night. And if the guest stays until morning, then the hospitality for that time is a debt upon the householder; if the guest wishes, he may demand it, and if he wishes, he may forgo it."

Benefits and Issues:
From this, it is understood that just as there are other rights, one of the rights is that of the guest, and he may take it even if the host does not wish so. However, this does not mean that a person should make it his habit to become a guest of people and consume their wealth in an unlawful manner.
