Narrated Jabir: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert ; and leave people alone, Allah will give them provision from one another.

Explanation & Benefits
Hafiz Muhammad Ameen
The purpose is that transactions should proceed in a natural manner. Artificial scarcity should not be created, nor should inflation be caused through hoarding; rather, as production comes in, it should be sold in the market and continue to reach those in need. It is evident that if a city dweller sells the goods of a villager, he will engage in hoarding and create artificial scarcity so that the produce can be sold at a higher price for his own benefit.
