Question:
Will the disobedient among the jinn also enter the Fire?
Answer:
Yes, disobedient jinn will enter Hell, as clearly stated in the Qur'an.
Allah ﷻ says:
“Except those upon whom your Lord has mercy — and for that He created them. And the Word of your Lord will be fulfilled: I will surely fill Hell with jinn and mankind all together.”
[Sūrah Hūd: 119]
✿ Explanation:
- In the above verse, those upon whom mercy is shown refer to the people of Tawḥīd and the saved group, even if they belong to different lands and bodies.
- In contrast, the disobedient are those destined for punishment, even if they are united in place and form.
- The statement “وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ” indicates that this has already been decreed by Allah’s Qadr (Divine Will), based on His complete knowledge and wisdom.
- Among His creation, some are destined for Paradise and some for the Fire, and Hell will inevitably be filled with both jinn and mankind — the two major categories of created beings.
This reflects Allah’s perfect wisdom and irrefutable evidence in judgment.
