بَابُ قِتَالِ الْخَوَارِجِ وَأَهْلِ الْبَغِي
Narrated by ‘Urfajah:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: (Whoever comes to you while your matter is united under one man and seeks to break your unity or divide your congregation, then kill him.)"

The word "Khawarij" (Kharijites) is the plural of "Khariji". A Khariji or a rebel is someone who abandons truth and sincerity, and raises a banner of revolt against Muslim leaders and rulers.

Anyone who seeks to destroy the unity and solidarity of Muslims is considered a rebel.
❀ Punishment for Disruption:
The one who strives to shatter Muslim unity deserves the punishment of death according to this command.
❀ Unity Under One Leadership:
At any given time, there should be only one leader, president, or caliph. It is not permissible to pledge allegiance to two different leaders simultaneously. However, a vice-leader (deputy) can be appointed under the principal authority.
