- ʿAllamah Mulla ʿAli al-Qari al-Hanafi (1014 AH) رحمه الله wrote:
"Many noble Companions رضي الله عنهم were buried in Makkah, but their specific graves are not known, as mentioned by the leading scholars. Even the grave of Sayyidah Khadijah رضي الله عنها is not precisely identified — what is commonly said about it is based only on dreams experienced by some people."
