What are the most virtuous and obligatory actions for a fasting person?❖ Answer:
For a fasting person (ṣāʾim), it is both appropriate and highly virtuous to engage in acts of obedience to Allah as much as possible and to abstain completely from all prohibited acts.Additionally, it is obligatory for the fasting person to:✔ Maintain diligence in obligatory duties
✔ Avoid all major and minor sins
This includes:
- Performing the five daily prayers in congregation and on time
- Abstaining from lying, backbiting, deception, usury-based transactions, and all forbidden speech and actions
"Whoever does not give up false speech, acting upon it, and ignorance, then Allah is not in need of him giving up his food and drink."
