What are the Rights of a Sick Person?

Compiled by: Dr. Raza Abdullah Pasha (May Allah protect him)

Answer:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umara Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to do seven things and prohibited us from seven others.

The narration mentions:

«أمرنا النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم باتباع الجنائز، وعيادة المريض، وإجابة الداعي، وتصير المظلوم، وإبرار القسم»

"The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed us to follow funeral processions, visit the sick, accept invitations, assist the oppressed, and fulfill oaths."
