There are seven types of shirk; it is necessary that we understand these seven types of shirk and instead of these seven types of shirk, hold the belief in seven types of tawheed. These seven types of tawheed and shirk are as follows:

① (Tawheed in Judgment), (Shirk in Judgment)
② (Tawheed in Essence), (Shirk in Essence)
③ (Tawheed in Attributes), (Shirk in Attributes)
④ (Tawheed in Knowledge), (Shirk in Knowledge)
⑤ (Tawheed in Worship), (Shirk in Worship)
⑥ (Tawheed in Control), (Shirk in Control)
⑦ (Tawheed in Habit), (Shirk in Habit)
It is remembered that shirk falls under two categories:
① Major Shirk (Shirk Akbar):
(This includes all seven types of shirk mentioned above)
② Minor Shirk (Shirk Asghar):
(This includes showing off (Riya) and swearing by other than Allah, etc.)
