Compiled by: Abu ʿUkāshah al-Madanī
Sayyidunā ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir (RA) was a great Companion of the Prophet ﷺ, among the earliest Muslims, and a timeless symbol of patience and steadfastness. He endured severe torture for the sake of Islam, migrated, fought in jihād, and always stood firm with the truth. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made multiple prophecies about him, highlighting his faith, sincerity, and protection from Shayṭān.
In this article, we present his virtues and merits only from authentic narrations, along with Arabic text, English translation, references, and a brief explanation.

وَيْحَ عَمَّارٍ تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَيَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ
English Translation:
“Woe to ʿAmmār! A rebellious group will kill him. He will call them to Paradise, but they will call him to the Fire.”
