"The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'There is no migration after the conquest (of Makkah), but there remains Jihad and intention. And when you are called to march forth, then march forth.'"
(Agreed upon)
The meaning of this Hadith is that after the conquest of Makkah, migration (Hijrah) from Makkah was no longer required because it had become a land of Islam (Dar al-Islam).
✔ ② The Hadith conveys the glad tidings from the Prophet (ﷺ) that Makkah will remain Dar al-Islam forever.
✔ ③ As long as Dar al-Kufr (land of disbelief) and Dar al-Islam (land of Islam) exist, the ruling on migration remains valid. Thus, anyone residing in Dar al-Kufr who has the ability to migrate to Dar al-Islam is obligated to do so. However, those who are weak, such as men, women, and children who cannot find a way to migrate, Allah will excuse them and provide them a way out.
✔ ④ The goodness that was previously achieved through migration can now be attained through Jihad and sincere intentions.
✔ ⑤ When the Imam commands for Jihad, it becomes obligatory to respond and set out for battle. This also proves that Jihad should be conducted under the leadership of an Imam or appointed leader.
✔ ⑥ The validity and reward of deeds are based upon the intention behind them.
✔ ⑦ It is obligatory to make the intention for Jihad within the heart and to prepare for it accordingly.
