If the pauses (saktāt) mentioned in some Ahadith are not observed during Salah, will such a prayer still be valid?
❖ Answer:
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa as-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd:
If these pauses (moments of silence) are not observed during Salah, the prayer will still be valid, In shāʾ Allāh Taʿālā.
However, the better and more virtuous method is to observe these pauses, as they are established in authentic Ahadith.

- Salah is not invalidated by omitting the pauses (saktāt).
- However, the Sunnah and more virtuous practice is to act upon these moments of silence during the prayer.
