Treatment with Cupping (Hijama)

When Was the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Commanded to Use Cupping (Hijama) as a Treatment?

A narration from Anas bin Malik (RA) highlights this command:

«ما مررت ليلة أسري ليلة بي بملإ إلا قالوا: يا محمدا مر امتك بالحجامة»

“On the night I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra), I did not pass by any group of angels without them saying: O Muhammad ﷺ, instruct your Ummah to practice cupping (Hijama).”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith No. 3479)
Shaykh Albani (RA) has classified this narration as Sahih (authentic).
