عن أبى هريرة، رضى الله عنه عن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking reward (for the pleasure of Allah), then his previous sins will be forgiven."

عن أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ، قال: إذا جاء رمضان فتحت أبواب الجنة، وغلقت أبواب النار ، وصفدت الشياطين .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "When the month of Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained."

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (RA) says, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
إن فى الجنة بابا يقال له الريان ، يدخل منه الصائمون يوم القيامة ، لا يدخل منه أحد غيرهم ، يقال: أين الصائمون؟ فيقومون لا يدخل منه أحد غيرهم فإذا دخلوا أغلق فلم يدخل منه أحد .
"There is a gate in Paradise called Al-Rayyan. Only those who fast will enter through it; no one else will enter besides them. A call will be made: 'Where are the fasting people?' They will stand up and enter through this gate, then it will be closed and no one else will enter through it."
