❖ The Prophetic Way of Offering Marriage Congratulations

It is narrated from Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه that whenever the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would see someone who had gotten married, he would say:

"بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ لَكَ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ"
“May Allāh bless you, and shower blessings upon you, and unite you both in goodness.”

📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Abū Dāwūd: 1866 — Kitāb al-Nikāḥ, Bāb: What is said to the one who gets married
📚 Abū Dāwūd: 2130
📚 Al-Tirmidhī: 1091
📚 Aḥmad: 2/381
📚 Ibn Mājah: 1905
📚 Ibn Ḥibbān: 4052
📚 Al-Ḥākim: 2/183
📚 Al-Bayhaqī: 7/148

✅ This supplication is authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) and is the recommended way (sunnah) to congratulate someone on their marriage.
