The Supplication for Distress and Grief
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (رضی اللہ عنہ) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to frequently recite the following supplication:

((اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الهم والحزن والعجز والكسل والبخل والجبن وضلع الدين وغلبة الرجال))

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from weakness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from being burdened by debt and from the oppression of men.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari: 6369)

This is such a beautiful and powerful du'a—jazakum Allahu khayran for sharing it. It's amazing how turning to the Sunnah during times of hardship brings so much inner peace. We often see that students learning the Quran, especially adults, find even more comfort when they understand the deeper meanings of du'as like this. Sometimes we include reflections like this in our sessions to help learners connect emotionally and spiritually.

Does anyone here combine teaching supplications with Tafsir or Quran lessons for better impact?

So true! This du'a is really powerful—brings a lot of comfort. It’s one I come back to often in tough times.
