The statement regarding the departure of the army and jihad training after the Eid prayer.

This excerpt is taken from the book of Fadhilat al-Sheikh Mubashir Ahmad Rabbani, may Allah have mercy on him, Ahkam and Masail of Ramadan.

Departure of Jihadi Convoys After Eid Prayer:.

Sayyidina Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates:
كان النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم يخرج يوم الفطر والأضحى إلى المصلى فأول شيء يبدأ به الصلاة ثم ينصرف فيقوم مقابل الناس والناس جلوس على صفوفهم فيعظهم ويوصيهم ويأمرهم فإن كان يريد أن يقطع بعثا قطعه أو يأمر بشيء أمر به ثم ينصرف
"The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) would go out to the prayer ground on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. He would first perform the Eid prayer, then after finishing the prayer, he would stand before the people and they would sit in their rows. He (peace be upon him) would give them admonition and advice and issue commands. If he (peace be upon him) wanted to send an army, he would send it, or if he needed to give any other command, he would do so, then he would return."

From this hadith, it is understood that Muslims should not overlook the important pillar of jihad on the occasion of Eid al-Mubarak, but rather the Imam of the Muslims should also give admonition and advice and send out caravans for jihad wherever necessary, as the current state of Muslims is dire. It is the duty of scholars and preachers to awaken the spirit of jihad within them, to ignite the dead conscience with the fire of faith, to encourage training and preparation, and to lead them towards military camps. On the day of Eid, demonstrations of martial arts and war games should be held.
Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) has mentioned in كتاب العيدين the people of Abyssinia playing with spears and shields, and this game was also witnessed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself, and he made Sayyida Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) stand behind him to watch.

In light of this hadith, we learn that if we wish to play any games on the day of Eid, they should be beneficial to Islam. Among Islamic games, horseback riding, swimming, walking, and archery are jihad-related games that should be played, and by explaining their importance to people, we should instill the spirit of jihad within them so that the Muslim Ummah can revive its glorious and radiant past.
