This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamir wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.

Instructions Regarding Hajj

① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
من حج لله عزوجل فلم يرفث و لم يفسق رجع كيوم ولدته أمه
"Whoever performs Hajj for the pleasure of Allah Almighty and does not commit any immorality or wrongdoing during it, then he returns (free from sins) as the day his mother gave birth to him (pure and sinless)."
Reference: Bukhari, Book of Hajj 1521. Muslim, Book of Hajj 1350.

② Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
تابعوا بين الحج والعمرة فإنهما ينفيان الذنوب والفقر كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد والذهب والفضة وليس لحجة مبرورة ثواب إلا الجنة
"Keep performing Hajj and Umrah, for they erase sins and poverty just as the furnace removes impurities from iron, gold, and silver. The reward for an accepted Hajj is Paradise."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Hajj from the Messenger of Allah 810. The narration is authentic.

③ Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما states, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من أراد الحج فليتعجل
"Whoever intends to perform Hajj should hasten to do so."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Manasik 1732.

Prohibition of Abandoning Hajj

① Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه states, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
من ملك راحلة و زادا تبلغه إلى بيت الله الحرام ، ولم يحج فلا عليه أن يموت يهوديا أو نصرانيا، وذلك أن الله تعالى يقول :
"Whoever has a mount and sufficient provisions to reach the Sacred House of Allah (Kaaba) and yet does not perform Hajj, then Allah does not care whether he dies as a Jew or a Christian. Because Allah says: (And Hajj to the House is a duty that mankind owes to Allah for those who can find a way to it)."
Reference: Tirmidhi Al-Hajj, Hadith 812. Its chain includes Bilal bin Abdullah Majhool and Harith is weak in the hadith. Nasb al-Rayah by Al-Zaili: 410/4.

The Greatness of the Black Stone and the Related Rulings

① Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما states, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said regarding the Black Stone:
والله ليبعثنه الله يوم القيامة له عينان يبصر بهما ولسان ينطق به يشهد على من استلمه بحق
"By Allah! Allah will raise it on the Day of Resurrection with two eyes, so it will see with them, and it will be raised with a tongue, and it will testify concerning whoever kissed it with truth."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Hajj, Hadith 961. Its chain of narration is Hasan.
